Alfredo Jaar é um artista, arquiteto e cineasta que vive e trabalha em Nova York. Seu trabalho foi exibido extensivamente em todo o mundo. Participou das Bienais de Veneza (1986, 2007, 2009, 2013), de São Paulo (1987, 1989, 2010, 2020) e da Documenta in Kassel (1987, 2002). Exposições individuais importantes incluem The New Museum of Contemporary Art, Nova York (1992); Whitechapel, Londres (1992); Moderna Museet, Estocolmo (1994); The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (1995); e O Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Roma (2005). Alfredo Jaar is an artist, architect, and filmmaker who lives and works in New York.  His work has been shown extensively around the world.
