Embora a internet pareça um lugar desconectado do mundo físico e da vida real, grande parte da atividade que ocorre nesse ambiente afeta profundamente a forma como as pessoas sentem-se fora dele. Explorando aplicativos de beleza voltados às mulheres e suas ferramentas que permitem transformar qualquer fotografia rapidamente em uma imagem dos sonhos, Doroszenko inspira-se nas falhas e bugs desse sistema. A série, Body Editor, explora as distorções causadas em corpos digitalizados, artificializados e modificados pelos aplicativos. A artista convida a retomar esses dispositivos com outras funções, ao desafiar padrões de comportamento e confiança nas imagens que nos cercam.

While the Internet can seem like a place disconnected from the physical world, much of the activity that occurs there deeply affects how people feel outside of it. Modern technology provides women with tools that allow them to quickly create the digital images of themselves they dream of. Using various beauty apps, they can completely change their image captured in the picture. The failures and bugs in the popular beauty apps have inspired the project, where unnatural bodies are distorted. Using photography and digital tools, I tried to challenge our trust in the digitally constructed images that surround us.
