FRIDO CLAUDINO
Frido Claudino (Brasil, 1981) é sociólogo, fotógrafo e pesquisador na área de estudos da imagem e política. Desenvolve a pesquisa “Imagem Ocupada” onde investiga as políticas de visibilidade empreendidas pelos movimentos sociais contemporâneos. A partir das temáticas das identidades e sua problematização no campo das teorias do discurso procura traçar um panorama de compreensão da fotografia através da ótica das ações coletivas em especial aquelas dedicadas a elaborar narrativas marginais e formas de representação contrahegemónica. É graduado em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) e mestre em Comunicação Visual pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). Atualmente leciona disciplinas de sociologia no Instituto Federal de Tecnologia do Sertão Pernambucano (IF Sertão PE), Campus Salgueiro onde também coordena o grupo de pesquisa Políticas do Discurso.

Frido Claudino (Brasil, 1981) is a sociologist, photographer and researcher in the field of image and political studies. He develops the research “Imagem Ocupada” where he investigates the visibility policies undertaken by contemporary social movements. Based on the themes of identities and their problematization in the field of discourse theories, he seeks to draw a panorama of understanding photography through the perspective of collective actions, especially those dedicated to elaborating marginal narratives and forms of counter hegemonic representation. He holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and a master’s degree in Visual Communication from the State University of Londrina (UEL). He currently teaches sociology subjects at the Federal Institute of Technology of Sertão Pernambucano (IF Sertão PE), Campus Salgueiro where he also coordinates the research group Discourse Policies.
